About a month ago I received a job offer to work in a call center as a customer service and collections agent. Grateful to receive the job offer in these tough economic times, but I am not ecstatic.
Push came to shove; I recently received a phone call regarding my employment history. Long story short, I was able to push the start date back a month.
It could be someone up there watching out for me, but it was a great wakening call. I am utilizing this time to get my butt in to gear and take the necessary measures to create the career I want even if it hardly pays.
